The 49th AGM will be held on Sunday 16th January 2022 at 6 pm.

In view of the uncertainty as to whether there will be further Covid-19 restrictions in effect this winter, which may prevent travel and large indoor gatherings, the meeting will once again be held remotely.  We hope to return to a normal face-to-face meeting the following year.

Further information and dial in details will be circulated in due course, but please note the date in your diary.

The meeting is open to all, but only members will be eligible to vote.

Please note that any proposed amendments to the constitution, any proposals and any nominations for election to council must be notified at least 28 days before the meeting.  There are currently two vacant positions on council – Chair of Education and Chair of Development – it would be good to fill those positions.

In addition, you may recall that Jon Haw indicated prior to the last AGM that he would not be seeking re-election.  Jon has however kindly continued to fulfil the role of treasurer in the interim and I am pleased to inform you that Justine Robertson has indicated that she would be willing to seek election to this role at the next AGM.

We look forward to seeing as many people as possible at the meeting; albeit virtually rather in person, once again.

Take care,

Andy Horton
