Brass Explosion the final regular contest of the BYBA season takes place in Stafford on 22nd September! Nine bands will provide 3 hours of top class entertainment across three divisions.

From A34 North: On the outskirts of the town centre at first roundabout, take the 1st exit (turn left) onto Beaconside
Road. Continue along this round and take the 3rd turning on the right onto the Common Road. Continue on this road,
over the bridge and follow the road to the left. Stafford Rangers FC is on the right. Trucks only can park on Stafford
Rangers FC (turning right) and all other traffic (coaches, mini buses, cars & trailers) can park on the Industrial Estate
(turning left onto Drummond Road).

From Town Centre: From large roundabout at the north end of the shopping area (Sainsbury’s & Guildhall Shopping
Center Areas), follow signs for A34 (Stoke) onto Greyfriars Road (Dual Carriageway), past Halfords, going through 3
sets of traffic lights. At the roundabout (McDonalds and Ford Bristol Street will be in front of you) take the 1st Exit
onto the Eccleshall Road (A5013). Follow this road for approximately 0.5 miles and just before the church on the right
(if you go past the Best Western turning you have gone too far) take the turning on the right onto the Holmcroft Road.
Continue along this round and at the traffic lights turn right onto the Stone Road. At the roundabout (just after the
short stretch of dual carriageway) take the 3rd exit (turning right) onto Beaconside Road. Continue along this round
and take the 3rd turning on the right onto the Common Road. Continue down this road, over the bridge and follow the
road to the left. Stafford Rangers FC is on the right. Trucks only can park on Stafford Rangers FC (turning right) and all
other traffic (coaches, mini buses, cars & trailers) can park on the Industrial Estate (turning left onto Drummond
Road).

From A518 (Uttoxeter): after passing the County Showground, turn right at the next roundabout (by the University
and Fire Station) onto Beaconside Road. Follow this road for approx. 2 miles, past Stafford Army Base and take the
next left after the second set of traffic lights onto the Common Road. Continue on this road, over the bridge and
follow the road to the left. Stafford Rangers FC is on the right. Trucks only can park on Stafford Rangers FC (turning
right) and all other traffic (coaches, mini buses, cars & trailers) can park on the Industrial Estate (turning left onto
Drummond Road).

From M6 South: follow signs for Stafford and leave the motorway at Junction 13 (Stafford South). At the roundabout
on the junction take the 3rd Exit sign posted for Stafford (A449). At the mini roundabout continue straight. Continue
down this road as it merges onto Moss Pit. At the main junction traffic lights (you will see Tesco Express Garage on
your right-hand side just in front) keep in the left-hand lane and continue straight (following signs for Town Centre).
Follow this road past 4 sets of traffic lights, over the railway bridge and continue onto Wolverhampton Road (A449)
until you reach the roundabout at the outskirts of Stafford Town Centre. Keep in the middle lane and follow signs for
A34 (M6 North). Follow the lane round the function, following signs for Stone (A34) M6 North. As you see the large
M&S Store, keep this on your left-hand side and follow the road to the left, keeping in the left-hand lane. You will
pass Asda on your right-hand side. Continue to follow A34 (M6 North) round the next junction and onto the next dual
carriageway stretch. You will come to a traffic light junction with a right-hand turn contra lane and an Aldi and B&M
Store on your left. Continue straight on using the left hand 2 lanes. Immediately after these lights use the right-hand
2 lanes to follow A34. As you go around the roundabout, keep to the left in the fork and follow signs for A34 (Stoke)
onto Greyfriars Road (Dual Carriageway), past Halfords, going through 3 sets of traffic lights. At the roundabout
(McDonalds and Ford Bristol Street will be in front of you) take the 1st Exit onto the Eccleshall Road (A5013). Follow
this road for approximately 0.5 miles and just before the church on the right (if you go past the Best Western turning

From M6 North: follow signs for Birmingham/Wolverhampton and leave the motorway at Junction 14 (Stafford
North). At the roundabout on the junction take the 1st Exit sign posted for Stafford (A34). At the mini roundabout
continue straight ahead past the Travel Inn and Shire Horse Pub. At the main roundabout continue straight on (2nd
Exit) onto the Beaconside Road. Continue along this round and take the 3rd turning on the right onto the Common
Road. Continue on this road, over the bridge and follow the road to the left. Stafford Rangers FC is on the right. Trucks
only can park on Stafford Rangers FC (turning right) and all other traffic (coaches, mini buses, cars & trailers) can park
on the Industrial Estate (turning left onto Drummond Road).
