Individuals and Ensembles this Sunday
The annual BYBA Individual and Ensembles competition is taking place this Sunday 18th November at a great new venue in Northampton!
This year sees the largest entry in many years with over 60 performances. To help you plan your day and ensure you don't miss anything, we've posted the timetable below.
Colourguard : Pete Lippiatt
|Peter has many years of experience in drum corps as a marching member, instructor and colour guard caption head. He has been an active judge for Winterguard United Kingdom (WGUK) since 2012 and with Colour Guard Netherlands (CGN) for the last three years. He is also the current judges’ co-ordinator for WGUK and sits on the board of WGUK.|
|Laura enlisted into the Army in 1997 as a French horn player and pianist. On completion of her training, she was posted to the Royal Artillery Band and Orchestra. In 2010 she was appointed Bandmaster to the Band of the Adjutant General’s Corps at Worthy Down and in 2014 assumed the post of Bandmaster of the Band of the Coldstream Guards. She was selected for a Commission in 2017 and assumed her current post of Officer Commanding, Corps of Army Music Engagement Team, in April of this year.|
|Michael started his banding life with Magic Drum and Bugle Corps as a member of the front ensemble in 2000 before moving into the drumline. Since then he has enjoyed time with Forgemen, Northern Star and Concord, as part of the drumline and also the front ensemble. When he finished performing, he became a drum and visual instructor, most recently with Revolution, and in 2016 turned his hand to judging and earlier this year because an active BYBA judge.|
