Only a few more days until the British Youth Band Association National Championships take place on 6th October at the Bedford International Athletics Stadium..
Twelve bands and corps from across the UK will battle it out across three classes for the title of British Champions!

Dogs -
We have checked with Stadium management and dogs are not allowed anywhere on the site with the exception of guide dogs.
Food Outlet -
The café/bar is on the first floor, and can be accessed via a corridor between the
grandstands, below the judges’ balcony. Please work with the stewards and show
your wristband at all times.

Bar Outlet -
Open throughout the day and will close at 7pm before Retreat. Please drink
responsibly, advising your members and supporters that this is a family event and
normal laws apply.
Other Food Outlets -
We hope you will support the on-site café/bar at reasonable prices, though there is
also a McDonalds and a Pizza Hut a couple of minutes’ walk away, on the opposite
side of Barkers Lane, accessed from the public car park, or from Longholme Way
Car Parking -
Weather permitting, please park on the field shown to the left of the photograph below; this is an unlit area! Free public parking (tarmac surface) is also available for cars on the other side of Barkers Lane, opposite the stadium; please note the entrance is off Longholme Way next to McDonald’s, and is behind Pizza Hut and the cinema. This is a one-way car park, with the exit in front of the stadium into Barker’s Lane. Be aware when crossing Barkers Lane, it is very busy. BIAS also has another event in the main Sports Hall!
