Dalton-Wright Bursary Fund

The fund was originally launched in memory of the Association’s Founding Secretary, Stanley Wright, in order to provide support for members who wish to follow a musical career or require assistance with a particular music related project.

At the BYBA AGM on 22 November 2003, the BYBA Council agreed that in recognition of the tremendous financial support given by Pat Dalton to the Fund over many years, that the Fund should be renamed the Dalton-Wright Bursary Fund.

In order to apply for a grant, there is a simple email application process supported by a wider criteria from which we hope to assist in the development of young people, whilst achieving a higher profile for BYBA.

If you, or someone you know in a BYBA Member Band/Corps could benefit from financial support based on the following criteria, then we would be delighted to hear from you.

Download the criteria and application form HERE that will request all the initial information we need to consider your request. The more information you provide will assist in a speedy response, all information is treated in strict confidence.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us.

Donations, no matter how small are always welcome. The larger the Fund, the more we can help our members.

Many thanks DWBF Administrators
